BER / Discard

Record the disposal of parts that are beyond economical repair (BER) or otherwise condemned for scrapping. BER Discard is a specialised Material Issue type that removes parts from serviceable inventory while maintaining a full audit trail of what was discarded and why. This guide covers creating discard records, documenting BER reasons, and the authorization workflow.
