Inspection Matrix
1 Open the Matrix

Navigate to Flight Ops → Inspections or go directly to /flight-ops/inspections. The inspections matrix shows every active inspection schedule across all aircraft in a single view.

Inspections matrix showing all scheduled inspections with colour-coded due status badges
Each row shows the inspection type, aircraft registration, description, intervals, last-done values, next-due values, and a colour-coded due-status badge.
2 Status Colour Codes

OVERDUERedInspection is past its due threshold on at least one dimension (hours, cycles, or days).
COMING DUEAmberInspection is approaching its due threshold — plan maintenance soon.
OKGreenInspection has sufficient margin remaining.
NOT STARTEDGreyNo last-done data recorded — inspection has never been performed.
Overdue inspections should be addressed immediately. Use the Inspection Due Report to generate a prioritised list and batch-create work orders.
3 Filter & Sort

Use the filter controls at the top of the matrix to narrow the view:

FilterDescription

Onboarding & Bulk Actions
6 Onboard an Aircraft

Click the Onboard Aircraft button to launch the onboarding wizard at /flight-ops/inspections/onboard. The wizard allows you to set up a complete inspection baseline for a newly registered aircraft in one step.

See Aircraft Onboarding Wizard for the full step-by-step guide.

Bulk creation and deactivation of inspections require admin role. CAMO engineers can create individual inspections but cannot perform bulk operations.
