Distribution Lists
1 Open Distribution Lists

Navigate to Settings → Utilities → Distribution List or go directly to /settings/utilities/distribution-list. This page lets you create named groups of recipients for notification routing.

2 Create a Distribution List

Click + Create List and fill in:

FieldDescription
List NameA descriptive name (e.g. “CAMO Engineering Team”, “QA Auditors”).
DescriptionPurpose of this distribution list.

Click Save to create the list. Distribution lists are used to route notifications to the right people when automated alerts are triggered.

Create separate lists for different teams (CAMO, QA, Maintenance, Management) so notifications reach the right people without flooding everyone’s inbox.

3 How URL Monitoring Works

camo_engineer When an AD/SB item has Monitoring Enabled and a Source URL, AeroTrack periodically checks whether the content at that URL has changed since the last check.

If a change is detected, the system creates a notification record in the AD/SB Notifications table with a severity level (CRITICAL or WARNING) based on the type of change detected.

See AD/SB Monitoring for how to set up monitoring on individual AD/SB items, and AD/SB Notifications for managing the alert queue.
4 View Notifications

Navigate to Tech Library → AD/SB → Notifications (/tech-library/ad-sb/notifications) to view all pending and acknowledged alerts. The table shows:

ColumnDescription
AD/SBThe directive or service bulletin that triggered the alert.
SeverityCRITICAL (major change detected) or WARNING (minor change).
DetectedWhen the URL change was first detected.
AcknowledgedWhether someone has reviewed and acknowledged the alert.
CRITICAL notifications indicate a potentially safety-relevant change to a regulatory document. These should be reviewed and actioned promptly by the CAMO team.
