Part Utilities
3Change ATA Chapter

Reassign one or more parts to a different ATA chapter. Search for parts, select the target ATA chapter, and apply. Useful after ATA reclassification or data cleanup.

4Change Expiry Date

Update the expiry date on shelf-life parts. Select the part, batch/lot, and enter the new expiry date. An audit trail entry is created automatically.

Only update expiry dates with proper documentation (e.g. OEM shelf-life extension bulletin or curdling test result).
5Change Store Location

Move parts between store locations without creating a formal stock transfer. Select the part, source store, target store, and quantity to move.

6Change Rate

Update the standard cost rate for a part. Enter the new unit rate — this affects valuation reports going forward. Historical transactions retain their original rates.

7Change Serial / Batch

Correct the serial number or batch number on an existing part record. Useful for fixing data-entry errors on serialised components.

8Part Serial Status

View and update the serviceability status of serialised parts (Serviceable, Unserviceable, In Repair, Scrapped). Quick-reference tool for stores personnel.

9Replace Category

Bulk-change the category (Rotable, Repairable, Consumable, Expendable) for selected parts. Useful after reclassification of inventory types.

10Update Min/Max Levels

Set or update minimum and maximum stock levels for parts across stores. Parts below minimum trigger reorder reminders; parts above maximum flag over-stocking.

Use the CSV import option to bulk-update min/max levels for hundreds of parts at once.
Master Data & Misc
11Change Master Data

Bulk-update fields on master records (parts, vendors, stores). Select the master type, filter records, choose the field to change, and enter the new value. Applies to all matching records.

12Change Release Note

Update the release note (certificate) reference on received parts. Useful when the correct certificate number is received after the goods receipt is completed.

13Acceptance Tag Printing

Print acceptance tags (bin cards) for parts in a store. Select the store and parts, then generate printable tags showing part number, description, location, serial number, and expiry date.
