3 Component Types
TypeExamplesTypically Life-Limited?
EngineCFM56-7B, PW1100G, CFM LEAP-1AYes — TBO and life limit in hours/cycles.
APUHoneywell 131-9A, APS 3200Yes — hours-based life limit.
Landing GearMain gear, nose gear assembliesYes — cycle-based life limit.
PropellerHamilton Standard 568FYes — hours and cycles.
AvionicsFMS, EGPWS, transpondersCondition-monitored (no hard limit).
RotableHydraulic pumps, generators, actuatorsVaries — some have TBO intervals.
Life-limited parts (LLPs) that exceed their limits make the aircraft unairworthy. Monitor the Component Status page for fleet-wide life tracking.

Fill in the required fields (type, name, part number, serial number) and click Save to add the component.

5 Life Tracking Fields

For life-limited components, set the tracking parameters:

FieldDescription
TSN HoursTotal time accumulated since the component was new.
CSN CyclesTotal cycles since new.
TSO HoursTime since last overhaul (resets after OH).
Life Limit HoursHard life limit in hours — component must be replaced/overhauled before this.
Life Limit CyclesHard life limit in cycles.
Components without life limits are condition-monitored. They appear in the Component Status page but without the Coming Due / Exceeded alerts.
6 Edit & Remove

Click any component row to edit its fields inline. You can update TSN/CSN values, change the position, or modify life limits. To remove a component, use the delete action — this soft-deletes the record, preserving audit history.
