Navigate to Maintenance → Bench Check or go to /maintenance/bench-check.

Record Bench Check

Click + Record Check to open the form.

| Part | Yes | Select the component from the parts catalogue. |
| Serial Number | No | Serial number of the component being tested. |
| Aircraft Reg | No | Aircraft from which the component was removed. |
| Check Date | Yes | Date the bench check was performed (defaults to today). |
| Result | Yes | Serviceable, Needs Repair, or Unserviceable (BER). |
| Test Parameters | No | Test values, readings, and tolerances observed. |
| Checked By | No | Name of the engineer who performed the check. |
| Remarks | No | Findings, defects observed, or recommended action. |
If the result is Unserviceable (BER), initiate a BER/Discard record to formally scrap the component. If Needs Repair, create a work order for the repair shop.
4Submit
Click Save Record. The bench check result is logged and linked to the component’s history.
Serviceable components can be returned to stock immediately. The bench check record serves as the release-to-service documentation.
