Bench Check

Record bench check (functional test) results for components removed from aircraft. A bench check verifies whether a removed component is serviceable, requires repair, or should be scrapped. Results determine the component’s next disposition — return to stock, send for overhaul, or BER discard.

If the result is Unserviceable (BER), initiate a BER/Discard record to formally scrap the component. If Needs Repair, create a work order for the repair shop.
4Submit

Click Save Record. The bench check result is logged and linked to the component’s history.

Serviceable components can be returned to stock immediately. The bench check record serves as the release-to-service documentation.
