Inspection Kits

Define pre-packaged kits of parts and consumables required for specific inspections or maintenance tasks. When a work order references an inspection kit, all kit items are automatically added to the materials list, ensuring nothing is missed and simplifying stores requisitions.

Navigate to Masters → Inspection Kits or go to /masters/inspection-kits.

Kit NameDescriptive name (e.g. “100-Hour Inspection Kit”).
Kit CodeShort unique code for reference.
ItemsNumber of parts/consumables in the kit.
Aircraft ModelModel(s) this kit applies to (or “All”).
ActiveWhether the kit is available for use.

Click + New Kit or click an existing row to edit.

Aircraft ModelNoRestrict kit to specific model(s), or leave blank for all models.
DescriptionNoNotes about when this kit should be used.
4Kit Items

Add parts and consumables to the kit using the part typeahead search.

PartYesSearch and select from the parts catalogue.
QuantityYesDefault quantity required per inspection (minimum 1).
RemarksNoNotes about the item (e.g. “replace if worn”).
Kit items define default quantities. When added to a work order, quantities can be adjusted based on actual requirements.
5Submit

Click Save Kit. The kit is immediately available for selection in work orders and material planning.

Reference kits in work orders to auto-populate the materials list — saves time and reduces errors during material requisition.
