Browse the parts master, register new parts with pricing and stock levels, upload release certificates, and manage part metadata for procurement and maintenance.

Browse Parts
1 Open the Parts List

Navigate to Masters → Parts in the sidebar. The list loads at /masters/parts showing all registered parts.

Each row shows the part number, description, manufacturer, category, type, and current stock balance. Use the column headers to sort and the search bar to filter.

2 Understand the Table
ColumnMeaning
Part NumberManufacturer part number (unique identifier).
DescriptionShort name/description of the part.
ManufacturerOEM or manufacturer name.
CategoryRotable, Consumable, Expendable, Raw Material, Tool, etc.
TypeNEW, OVERHAULED, REPAIRED, or USED.
SerializedWhether the part tracks individual serial numbers.
Register a New Part
3 Open the New Part Form

Click + New Part on the list page, or navigate to /masters/parts/new.

4 Identity & Classification

5 Stock Levels & Pricing
FieldNotes
Min Stock LevelAlert threshold — reorder reminder triggers when stock drops below this.
Max Stock LevelUpper limit for stock holding.
Reorder LevelQuantity at which a new requisition should be raised.
Shelf Life (days)For perishable items — expiry tracking.
Purchase PriceLast known purchase price for cost estimation.
Standard RateStandard issue rate for internal costing.

Setting min/max/reorder levels enables automatic Reminders when stock runs low. This prevents AOG situations caused by missing parts.
6 Submit

Click Create to register the part. You’ll be redirected to the part detail page.

Part Detail & Certificates
7 View Part Detail & Certificates

The part detail page shows all metadata, current stock across stores, and a Certificates section listing uploaded release documents (EASA Form 1, FAA 8130, CoC, test reports).

Click Upload Certificate to attach a new document. Certificates are linked to the part and appear in Goods Receipt inspection records.

Serialized parts (rotable, life-limited) require individual tracking. Each serial number has its own installation history, hours/cycles, and certificate chain.
